In 2027, Brazil will host the World Angus Secretariat, welcoming breeders, researchers, experts, and leaders of the global Angus chain for a journey of knowledge, discovery, and connections.
Here, genetics with global origins found new environments, challenges, and possibilities. Over decades, Angus evolved on Brazilian soil through adaptations in genetics, management, nutrition, and production systems, developing its own ways of breeding and producing across the country's diverse conditions.
Over 12 days, a Tropical Angus experience will travel through different regions, farms, research centers, conferences, exhibitions, and experiences, revealing how the diversity of environments and production systems contributed to the evolution of the breed in Brazil.
A journey that will also showcase how productivity and sustainability can go hand in hand: from feed efficiency to the responsible use of natural resources, including practices that contribute to emissions reduction and the potential of production systems capable of achieving carbon neutrality.
